Average wages $27 per hour plus shift differentials.
Consistent schedule and guaranteed 40 hours with opportunity for overtime.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to inspecting and testing storage batteries and accessories in the manufacturing process or before shipment to verify conformity with mechanical, chemical, and electrical specifications.
Inspecting and testing storage batteries and accessories in the manufacturing process or before shipment to verify conformity with mechanical, chemical, and electrical specifications.
Visually examines batteries and accessories for defects and determines if specifications have been met.
Records, maintains, and analyzes this data in order to aid the problem solving process.
If deficiencies are found may have to inform proper people.
May use any combination of the following resources and testing devices, and aids to help make the judgement of quality.
The set tools include but are not limited to the following:
Voltmeter, hydrometer, test units, visuals aids, etc.
Records test results and evaluates results as instructed by Quality Control and Engineering Department.
May have to lift up to 50 lbs and disassemble batteries and accessories.
Also inspects and tests test processes.
Other responsibilities as instructed.
The QA inspector also is responsible and possesses the authority to assist in determining the disposition of nonconforming product, which in certain instances may require a stoppage of production or shipment.
He or she is responsible for the quality of work produced.
Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping and safety practices.
Regular attendance required.
Ability to work overtime.

Adequate educational background to facilitate growth potential.
Must be able to work with people and have good communication skills.
Excellent math skills (statistics).
Good analyzing and problem solving skills.
Should be mechanically inclined.
