East Penn is currently seeking a Predictive Maintenance Technician with experience of vibration, thermography and ultrasonic test equipment and their related software to work in the Maintenance department.
$5000.
00 BONUS! Wages up to $35 Consistent schedule and guaranteed 40 hours with opportunity for overtime.
Responsibilities:
Gather information on new and existing equipment for Somax and creating database.
Setup tree and route in database.
Setup analysis parameters and alarms in database.
Determine measurement points.
Research component parts.
Monitor machinery to establish a valid baseline data set.
Measure and record process variables.
Analyze data from spectrums, waveforms and parameter profiles.
Analyze trending and projected time to failure.
Identify specific degrading machine components or failure mode.
Identify specific or root cause of chronic maintenance problems.
Isolate specific points of a machine train.
Monitor and evaluate entire machine train.
Maintains regular attendance.
Ability to work mandatory over time.
Performs other duties as requested by Management.
Responsible for producing a high quality product.
Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of vibration, thermography and ultrasonic test equipment and their related software.
Computer skills, Windows operating systems.
Instrumentation and analytical skills.
Ability to interpret and analyze data using spectrums, waveforms, and parameter profiles.
Ability to understand and use applied technology diagnostics.
Good understanding of fault frequencies and harmonics.
Good understanding of process variables and the effect of process variables.
Good understanding of hydraulic and aerodynamic forces.
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of failure modes and the dynamics of machinery.
Good knowledge of how machines work, their common problems, and how to repair them.
Ability to recognize and pinpoint mechanical problems early and accurately.
Understand the dynamic properties of machine alignment, unbalance, mechanical looseness, resonance, bearing wear, gear defects, and belt defects.
Understand the specific location and orientation of each measurement point to determine measurement point locations.
Good understanding of cycle, displacement, frequency, phase, velocity, acceleration, and amplitude.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
Must be willing and able to pass NEPA 70E electrical safety qualifications.
